The Conlon Wildlife Foundation is a 501 (c) (3) public charity and was established in 2007 by siblings, Seán and Fiona Conlon. The charity was born from a desire  and commitment to fulfill a lifelong ambition, to aid animal welfare worldwide.

Growing up in a household filled with various types of domestic and native animals lovingly catered to by their parents, instilled in them a love of all living things. From the pet dogs and cats, mostly strays, that wandered in, to injured birds/hedgehogs/foxes etc, all were given sanctuary.

Through personal experiences, gained while working voluntarily in various rescue centers worldwide, Seán and Fiona witnessed independent animal welfare organizations struggling to meet daily demands. These struggles almost always boiled down to the same thing, limited funding and manpower.

Often these rescue centers are established by individuals wanting to make a difference, and they sacrifice their daily lives, income and every available minute to continue to provide vital services to animals most in need, therefore ensuring their survival.

Our aim is not to set up an animal rescue center or a wildlife project — our aim is to raise funds and manpower (direct volunteers) to aid existing independently functioning organizations ; depending almost entirely on public donations of funds and time.

Wander through the website and we will introduce you to some of these amazing people.....
